We had the opportunity to try Kevin's Natural Foods Hawaiian-Style chicken purchased from Costco. (I received free product in connection with my review). My family wasn't very talkative in the video (haha) but it was definitely a big hit with them. We all agreed that it had a great flavor and tasted homemade. I do recommend cooking it via the stovetop, not the microwave. It gave the chicken a nice texture and crust (that you wouldn't get in the microwave).

GOAT & Bing Bang Boom

 We were gifted the games GOAT and Bing Bang Boom from Taco Cat Games & Tryazon. Bing Bang Boom was a hit with both adults and the kids. It was easy to learn and very fast paced. 

GOAT is like charades but with extra modifiers. Everyone really got into the game and it was hilarious!

Jackson's Snacks

 We got to try the new Jackson's Super Veggie Straws (cooked in Avocado oil). They have a great crunch and are made without preservatives or artificial ingredients. They were a hit in our house with the adults and kids. Pick them up at your local Costco!

Qork & Flip 7 with a Vengeance Game Night

 We had such a fun time trying out some new games. First there was Flip 7 with a Vengeance (this is an advanced version of the traditional Flip 7 game). Lucky for us we had a few people familiar with the original game. It was so fun trying to decide if we should hit or stay and then seeing people bust. The extra cards make for some competitive fun and strategizing. 

Next we tried out Qork. This is a fast pace game that involves watching for either a 7 or doubles to come up on the dice. Then you have to pull your cork out or capture the corks, depending if you are rolling the dice or not. (Some of us, like me, found it tricky to keep track of what we were watching for and would just forget to try and capture the corks!)

Tryazon Hootenanny Games Party

Another fun weekend trying out new games. This party was sponsored by Tryazon.  Hootenanny Games sent me these products to try: SIXEM Sour Patch Kids, Disco Island Escape, Feelin' Cute & Snarkas.

Our party pack included the four games as well as some Sour Patch kids and game stickers. 

SIXEM Sour Patch is a speedy dice game. The first player to match the pattern with six Xs in a row wins. 

For Snarkas you are battling to collect cards and win gems in this competitive interstellar game. 

 In Disco Island you're trying to get your lemurs to safety by moving them off the Disco Island (which turns out to be a volcano). It takes some strategy and luck and is lots of fun. 

 In Feelin' Cute you have a "Cuteness Boss" who secretly chooses where the animal card goes (ie how cute they think it is) and the players have to guess. Then the boss rotates to the next person. It was so funny to see who though what animal was cuter.

Piggy Piggy Game

 We just tried the cutest new game called Piggy Piggy. This was gifted from Tryazon via their Tryabox program. 

The basics of the game - the little colored pigs and the cards are so adorable. You have tacos, sushi, donuts, ice cream or fries that you're trying to gather. You want to be the person with the most so you can place those cards and claim that colored pig. Then you can try to get points. Beware if someone has a goat card then they can steal a card from you and possibly steal your pig if they have more of those cards. 

It's a fast game and comes in a small package so really easy to travel with. We brought our game to a weekend at my parent's house. #Tryazon #PiggyPiggyGame #HasbroGames

Crazy Aaron's Putty & Slime Party - Tryazon

 Tryazon sent us so many fun Crazy Aaron's products. The kids had a blast opening all the putties and slime. They especially loved the putty that had little figures in them.  #thinkingputty #crazyaarons #Tryazon

The Slime Charmers were also a hit. Each container had a different theme with lots of fun mix-ins (beads, figures, etc.) There was regular slime as well as buttery and fluffy slime. (The grownups had a lot of fun playing with the products as well). 

Spin Master Bunches of Fun Game Night

We had the best time trying out some new Spin Master Games this past weekend. It was a rainy night and perfect to be inside playing hilarious games with family and friends.

The boys were big fans of Monkey See Monkey Poo (especially the banana scented poo). This game can be trickier than you think as you have aim just right to get your poo to knock down the bananas. 

 

Next it was time for Hedbanz Lightspeed! This was probably our group's favorite game. We played the team rules which meant one guesser and the clue giver had to change each time the icon on the Hedbanz changed. Clue options were 1)Act it out, 2)Ask me questions & 3)3 Clues. We laughed so hard at some of the acting! Check out our skills!  Can you guess what we are acting out? 

My son was already a fan of Dumb Ways to Die because of the online game.  This card game is quite fun and silly. You basically have to keep your little beans alive- which is quite tricky depending on the cards that people play. Or you can end up dying yourself if you draw the wrong card. 

SpinMaster Game Party!

We had the opportunity to try out some new games from SpinMaster Games this past Saturday. 

We had an exciting wager of chores vs. a movie party on Beat the Parents. The kids won and were very excited about their prize. Beat the Parents is a fun combination of questions and high action challenges. It was a blast for both parents and kids. 

Soggy Doggy is a great game for young kids. Though the adults enjoyed it just as much. Will you be the one to set the doggy off? No matter who triggers him, you all get wet! 

The living room crew tried out Less is More. In this game one player is the guesser who tries to identify a term described by others, and those other players try to describe that terms with as few words and letters as possible.

The Sink N Sand game is a survival type game where players are trying to keep their pieces on top of kinetic sand as the supports are pulled out from below. Will you find the redemption ruby and get a second chance? 

The last game we tried was HedBanz. This time players are trying to guess "What am I?" by asking yes or no questions to each other. 

Tryazon also included the game Escape Your Home. We just ran out of time to play this one but one lucky family did go home with their very own copy. It was a great night and the games are all really fun for both adults and kids.

Niagara Chocolate Party

We had a great evening trying out all the Niagara Chocolates cups and bars. The guests sampled all the flavors and voted on their favorites. We also made our own milkshakes with the chocolates, using vanilla or chocolate ice cream. The adults preferred the coconut clusters, peanut butter cups, and chocolate lovers cups. The kids all voted on the milk chocolate bars as the best (and pretty much ate them all). This chocolate is such high quality. One of the best I've had in a long time!
