It's coming and I hate it!

We are expecting a big snow storm tomorrow. I'm not ready! My car is ready but I'm not. I HATE SNOW. I'm sure all you snowman-huggers out there are thinking, "why?" "snow is wonderful and beautiful" and "that's how we get our water supply". Well to you all I say "Bah Humbug"! I hate snow. Sure it seems magical when you are looking out the window! Well that is all well and good if you can stay in your house and never have to go out in it.

Then when you do drive in the snow it can feel like a heart attack wrapped up in a nightmare. I just love watching cars around me slide off the road while I have a death grip on my steering wheel that could rival a professional wrestler. There is nothing more magical then getting stuck in the snow and having to dig your tires out and put down carpet pads and rock the car back and forth to get out.

This video illustrates one of my least favorite things about the snow - cleaning off my car at the Trax station after a long day of work. Boy I just love tromping around in my snow boots, freezing my hind end off to brush the snow off my car. Oh then sometimes I have to dig my tires out too. By the time I get into my car I am exhausted and also wet - since the snow will stick to my coat and if I didn't brush it all off then I've got melting snow on my seat.

I know that I live in Utah and it snows a lot here. Every year I am smacked in the face with that realization and usually a big glob of snow falling of the roof. I'll deal with it but I don't have to like it!

Amanda really really really hates snow!

I'm sorry you hate snow. For growing up here, I'm not such a huge fan, either. but mostly I hate being COLD!!

I'm with ya too... I hate the snow, unless of course I'm in my house, warm and with nowhere to go. I don't mind driving in the snow, I don't like others driving in the snow. I trust myself. Not them. It's going to be a longer winter.

We had snow here too! I feel your pain (sort of). I'm homebound right now with Livia so Scott has been out in it. He of course loves it and wants more. He's crazy!

Well it looks like the snow is here to stay and it just keeps coming. Oh well, at least we should have plenty of water for the summer and my parents have certainly been enjoying it.
